I am an atheist, you may not be

I am an atheist. I am married to a theist. I 100% respect her right to believe in the existence of a deity and its influence over daily living. What I do not endorse is the lack of questioning of religious precepts. This is what leads to paralytic fundamentalism. Furthermore, I have particular ideas about what should be done with the answers to such questions. I think that we should reject foolish Gods. I also think we should reject negative-minded Gods. Other than that, the sky’s the limit. One God, Two Gods, Red Gods, Blue Gods, it makes not a bit of difference to me. It’s all good.
